Solar  Light Operation Instructions

                            READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING YOUR SOLAR LIGHT. 

                                                 SAVE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

1. 1.       PARTS LIST

Each shipping carton should include the following parts

1. Bulb light with wire and plug                                1 unit

2. Solar panel with wire  and plug                            1 unit

1. 2.       INSTALLATION

The solar panel MUST be installed in a well lit location where it can receive maximum sunlight during daytime hours.  Any cover that shades the panel will affect its ability to absorb sunlight and decrease the amount of brightness and duration of the LED lights.  The lights and solar panel  box are for all weather use– they should not be affected by exposure to rain, snow or temperature.

The solar bulb light will activate automatically at sunset and deactivate automatically at dawn.  Its location should NOT be near a light source such as a porch light, street lamp, etc., as these lights might prevent the light from automatically turning on.  If possible, place the solar panel facing south to ensure the solar panel absorbs maximum sunlight.

After the solar panel is positioned properly insert the plug attached to the bulb light via wire and then install the bulb light at the desired place and turn ON power switch. Thus the installation is finished and the solar light can operate automatically  .

Charge the battery for at least 8 hours for first use.

1. 3.       BATTERY CARE

The Li-ion battery included with this product is rechargeable and should last for about 500 recharges.  Like all rechargeable batteries, however, it will eventually need to be replaced.  If the light should begin to illuminate dimly or for shorter durations of time, you should replace the rechargeable batteries in the following way:

1. Unscrew 6 connecting screws and remove bottom plate from the solar panel box.
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Replace battery with a new Li-ion rechargeable battery of same capacity. Make sure that polarities of the battery are correct.
4. Replace bottom and screws.

IMPORTANT! When storing any solar product for an extended period of time, be sure to remove the batteries.  Storing any solar product without regular recharge or removal could cause permanent damage to the rechargeable batteries.

DO NOT DISPOSE OF OLD BATTERIES – THEY SHOULD BE RECYCLED.
