This is a newly designed PEDEGO "INTERCEPTOR" Electric Cruiser Bicycle with BALLOON TIRES, that is Practical, and provides great Convenience and Comfort. Just ride this bike around your neighborhood for all those errands you used to do in your car or for urban commuting to work, it is really a breeze. This Electric Bike is dependable and sturdy and will get you to your destination with minimal effort. Ideal for long, relaxing rides on the weekend.

Pedego has equipped their latest "INTERCEPTOR" model with a 48 volt propulsion system that includes a lithium battery, a proprietary electromagnetic motor and a heavy duty controller. In addition, the "INTERCEPTOR" includes a suspension seat post, 12 gauge spoked wheels and Shwalbe Fat Frank Balloon tires to efficiently move riders over any surface. The "INTERCEPTOR" is a high performance electric bicycle powered by Pedego's industry leading brushless and gearless 500 watt motor. The main advantage to the Pedego Interceptor is the extra torque provided by the 48 Volt system, which allows you to climb hills at faster speeds.

For those looking for a distinctive look and an even smoother ride, this BALLOON Series is only available on select Pedego Comfort Cruisers. Added features include an extra comfortable padded suspension seat with matching stitched handgrips and SCHWALBE Fat Frank Balloon Tires. The classical motorcycle styled tire tread has stunning looks and provides for a softer ride. The tires also have a KevlarGuard belt combining special, flexible India rubber and Kevlar fibers for additional flat protection.

Handle Bar Brakes allow for easy stopping. The high performance 48V Lithium-ion battery system is married to the 500 watt efficient brushless hub motor. This is a perfect electric bike for just about anyone. It includes a variable Twist Throttle on the Handlebar, so you can power as if it were a scooter, for minimal effort pedaling.
