The original Sun Jar designed by Tobias Wong for SUCK UK

This is the original Sun Jar with golden light. It’s a regular Mason jar containing a highly efficient solar cell,
rechargeable battery and low energy LED bulbs. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current
that charges the battery over a few hours.

This is a great gift for seniors and kids – providing soft, absolutely safe, portable lighting anywhere.

This energy is then used at night to power the three LED bulbs inside the jar. The frosted jar diffuses the light (which looks like
sunlight because warm-coloured LED lights are used).

A light sensor inside automatically activates the lights and an override switch inside the lid can turn off the light to conserve the battery.

Mason Jars are not only beautiful but by their very nature they are completely water tight - so the jar can be left outside in any weather conditions.
