This product is made of brass,with chrome covering on the surface.It can get an accurate focus by manual focusing.The view finder also indicates the focused area with a spot as well.While there are some points needing your attention.Firstly,the Auto Focus is not available.Secondly,though stop-down metering is used,spot metering mode doesn't work properly.It is possible to use the A(aperture-priority AE) mode in auto exposure,while the aperture display is not available.Thirdly,in the P (Program AE),or S(Shutter speed-priority AE) mode,the shutter releases,but the auto exposure control doesnot work.Besides,the distance scale on the lens might not indicate the actual distance.Please be sure you have turned off the camera when you want install or uninstall the adapter.In addition,the EOS auto focusing system doesn't support less than F5.6.So before your capturing you have to focusing with MAX aperture and stop down to capturing.(The default setting is: 50mm F1.8)
