I bought some blossoming teas not long ago. While I thought they were really neat, I couldn’t really appreciate them when I brewed them in plain ceramic coffee cups.

I fell in love with Teaposy Daydream Tea Pot and the glass warmer, because they seemed like a beautiful way to showcase the flowering tea as it was brewing. This tea pot is also versatile. It has a strainer to brew loose-leaf teas as well.

After actually testing the product out, I would say that they are well-made and well-designed for their primary purpose of brewing blossoming teas.

The tea pot is made of borosilicate glass, so it is capable of handling even boiling water. The handle stays cool to the touch, and the tea pot pours flawlessly, without a dribble.

One feature I really like is that the lid is firmly secured to the pot by a little half-moon shaped piece of glass. You can tip it all the way over, even upside down, without losing the lid!

The round belly of the tea pot is perfect for showcasing blossoming teas and herbal tisanes made of whole leaves and flowers. The strainer in the spout works well, and it’s much easier than I expected to take out and clean.

It’s also great for showcasing the loose-leaf tea as it brews. However, there is no infuser basket, so the only way to stop the tea from oversteeping is to pour it out of the pot.

The warmer uses a votive candle-the tea stays warm as long as the flame stays lit, and it looks simply gorgeous!

All in all, I love this tea pot and the votive candle warmer for blossoming teas and herbal tisanes that don’t get bitter from oversteeping.

It’s perfect for a day spent curled up with some herbal tea and a good book, or even as the centerpiece for a romantic candlelit meal. It’s just not the best choice for regular tea unless you have company and can drink the whole pot at once.

You can pour tea from the press into your cup without having to worry about taking the filter out.

This tea press also has a plastic stand to protect your table from the heat of the tea press, so you don’t have to worry about using a coaster.

Most people who have bought the New Kenya Tea Press love it. The negative reviews are mainly due to the fragility of the glass.

I personally bought the Bodum Stainless Steel Yo Yo Tea Infuser as a set with a double-walled Bodum Pavina glass.

I love the Yo-Yo Infuser, and when I first got the set, I loved the glass, too. It was so cool to be able to see the pretty color of the green tea I was drinking!

Also, the double-walled glass tea pot was never hot to the touch-just soothingly warm. Of course, it fit the Yo-Yo tea infuser perfectly.

However, the glass is now cracked in several places, after bumping up against some other dishes in the sink. Please note that I have a variety of glass cups in my house. They don’t break very often, so I don’t think I’m particularly tough on glass items.

Also, Bodum’s glass tea pot is supposed to be strong, similar to Pyrex. The cup was never dropped, and I don’t think it bumped up against the other dishes with an excessive amount of force.

So, as far as the cup is concerned, it is a great cup, but if you decide to buy it, you’ll need to use extra care with it to make sure it doesn’t break.

The same caveat seems to apply to the New Kenya Tea Press, too - it is a great product, but you have to be careful with it.
