The 120 and 80GB storage capacities and 1.5Gb/s implementation provide computing capabilities traditionally found in desktop and notebook PCs. The MK**16GSG series provides additional advantages of durability against shock events up to 1,500G in non-operating mode and lighter weight at 62 grams. The spin speed, 8MB and 489 megabit per second media transfer rate ensure high-performance, while power consumption is kept at a minimum through advanced power management techniques.
