Highly Flexible Tile Adhesive

Product Description

Features and benefits:
1) NIC-C6 is specially formulated to produce an extra high strength for fixing
of marble, ceramic tiles and natural stones, especially on exterior walls
2) Can be used on concrete, cement render, plaster board and fiber cement
boards
3) Suitable for laying tiles onto old tiles, concrete, concrete block-work or
rendered brickwork surfaces
4) Due to high flexibility, the adhesive is durable for thermal expansion and
movement
5) Water resistance is excellent
6) Can be used directly out of the container, no watering tiles and walls
required, convenient, quick

Surface preparation:
1) All surfaces should be structurally sound, dry, clean and free from
movement, oil, grease, wax, curing compounds and other loose
contamination materials
2) Can be used directly onto the old tiles
3) For light weight bathroom accessories application

Instruction:
1) Mixing ratio: 3:1 (approx. 7.5kg of water plus 25kg of NIC-C6. Allow the
mixture to stand for 5-10min. Re-stirred when necessary)
2) Spread NIC-C6 onto the substrate evenly using the correct notched trowel.
Do not spread more than 1m² at a time. Press the stone or marble rightly
onto the substrate
3) For tiles with deep grooves or ridges, the adhesive should be buttered
onto the back of the tiles in addition to trowel onto the substrate
4) NIC-C6 can be used rightly onto the old tiles

Dosage:
1) Use 6 x 6mm notched trowel, approx. 2.8-3.0kg/m²
2) Use 10 x 10mm notched trowel, approx. 4-5kg/m²
3) Notched trowels are chosen according to site and surface

Specifications:

2) Open time: ≥10min
3) Surface drying time: approx. 2hrs
4) Appearance: white or grey powder
5) Shrinkage: ≤0.50%
6) Normal shear strength: ≥1.0MPa
7) Water resistance shear strength: ≥0.7MPa
8) Heat treatment resistance shear strength: ≥0.7MPa
9) Freezing-thawing resistance shear strength: ≥0.7MPa

Precautions:
1) Do not mix the cured adhesive with water and reuse it
2) Before using NIC-C6 on concrete, cement render, plasterboard and fiber
cement boards, ensure that the wall is well fastened and stands well
3) Before using NIC-C6 on previously painted surfaces, ensure that the paint is
firmly adhered onto the substrate and no voids under the painted surface
4) Use the product at the temperature between 5-40°C
5) Remove wet adhesive from the face of the tiles with sponge or a damp cloth
before the adhesive dries

Shelf life:
Unopened bags can be stores for up to 12 months in a cool dry environment
