Z-Wave Inserted Control Switch Module TZ76:
The Z-Wave Appliance Micro Module by TKB is designed to be placed into a pattress box behind a normal switch . This switch is no longer controlling the electrical load directly but acts as input device for the micro module. It has an internal relay to control the electrical load attached. With this micro module an existing installation can be turned into a Z-Wave enabled smart system keeping the original switches in place. This is particularly useful if you are using switches of a particular pattern and don't what to change them.
TZ76 Inserted Switch
The Inserted Switch Control module is a component of the lighting control system of TKB Home.
This Control module is designed to work with other Z-Wave enabled devices. Z-Wave nodes of other types can be added to the system and will also act as repeaters if they support this function of repeating the signal received to other modules in the system.
As part of a Z-Wave network, the TZ76 will also act as a wireless repeater to insure that commands intended for another device in the network are received. This is useful when the device would otherwise be out of the radio range of the wireless controller.
This Module's function are just as TZ66D.
The difference between TZ71 and TZ76:
TZ71 can connect with 2 gang wall switch, maximum assocaited 10 pcs Z-Wave devices. And it can still turn on/off the attached load manually when the Z-Wave system paralyzed.
TZ76 can connect with 3 gang wall siwtch, maximum assocaited 15 pcs Z-Wave devices.
