Keemun Congou Black Tea, usually called Keemun black tea for short, is the gem of Chinese congou black tea. It is produced in the Keemun county of China. Keemun black tea is the most famous Chinese black tea. For over one hundred and thirty-one years, since the year 1875, when it was first produced, it has enjoyed a world renown for having won such titles of celebrity as "the Ace of the three rich-aroma teas of the world " and even having been praised as "The Queen Of Fragrance" and "a prodigy of teas".

Keemun, the southern-most county of Anhui province where Keemun Black tea is produced, is situated at 29`55`` North Latitude and 119`50`` East longitude, with an average elevation of about 400 metres and a climate bordering on that of subtropica. Such a natural environment, favorably endowed with a temerate cilmate, plentiful rainfall and cloud-encircling dense forests on peaks where tea -- growing spots are, has been the vital factor that nurtures the typical quality of Keemun Black Tea.

Keemun black tea Hao Ya (A) is a top quality of Keemun black tea. It is a mellow tea that will stand alone as well as support sugar and/or milk. The appearance of special grade Keemun black tea is slender and elegant. The reddish brown tea liquor is tasted heavy and brisk. The lasting strong aroma resembling both aroma of fruit and that of rose is the distinctive flavor for Keemun black tea, that is hence named "keemun flavor".

This keemun black tea is a very good tea that tastes so mild, so smooth, so mellow and what a pleasant and long lasting aftertaste. Organic.

To Enjoy:  Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Switch the kettle off, before it boils, when you hear the water rumbling. Add the hot, but not boiling, water and infuse for 3 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on the desired concentration.

Return Policy

Return/Exchange unwanted products within 3 days of receipt. Shipping will not be refunded for returns on unwanted items and exchanged products may be charged a shipping fee. We do not accept returns on any used products . Items must be returned in original packaging and in resale condition. Qing Quan Tea House will send another one (with like product) or refund any defective product within 30 days of customer receipt. Shipping will be reimbursed for the return and change of defective items. No refunds are made for sentimental losses or for any expenses incurred as a result of the loss.


Return Procedure

All returns must have a Return Authorization to be accepted and processed. If you need to return or exchange products for any reason please contact Qing Quan Tea House. State the order number, product, and reason for the return.  We cannot be responsible for items shipped back to Qing Quan Tea without pre-approval.   

You will receive e-mail confirmation when your return is received and processed. To file a claim send us a picture of the damaged item, with the original packaging, via e-mail within 3 days of the receipt of your item. 

Returned items must be received and inspected by Qing Quan Tea House prior to reimbursement or shipping the same items.  

Regardless of the reason of return (unwanted item or defective/damaged item) please allow 15 days for return processing and refund.
