Installation method of linear rail
linear rail can be divided into three types: roller linear guides, cylindrical linear guides, and ball linear guides. 1. Before installing the linear rail, the burrs, dirt and surface scars on the mechanical installation surface must be removed.
Note: The linear slide rails are coated with anti-rust oil before formal installation. Before installation, please clean the datum surface with cleaning oil before installation.
Usually, after the anti-rust oil is removed, the datum surface is prone to rust, so it is recommended to apply lubricating oil for the spindle with a lower viscosity.
2. Gently place the main rail on the bed platform, and use lateral fixing screws or other fixing fixtures to gently fit the line rail to the lateral installation surface.
Note: Before installation and use, it is necessary to confirm whether the screw holes are consistent. If the processing holes of the base do not match and the bolts are forcibly locked, it will greatly affect the combination accuracy and use quality.
3. Slightly tighten the positioning screws of the slide rail in order from the center to both sides, so that the rail and the vertical installation surface are slightly fitted. The sequence starts from the central position and tightens to both ends to get more stable accuracy. After the vertical datum level is slightly tightened, the locking force of the lateral datum plane is strengthened, so that the main rail can fit the lateral datum plane.
4. Use a torque wrench to slowly tighten the positioning screws of the slide rail according to the locking torque of various materials.
5. Use the same installation method to install the auxiliary rails, and install the sliding seats to the main rails and auxiliary rails individually.
Note that after the sliding seat is installed on the linear rail, many subsequent accessories cannot be installed due to the limited installation space, and the required accessories must be installed together at this stage. (Accessories may be oil nozzles, oil pipe joints, or dust-proof systems, etc.)
